eLEARNING COURSE ENGLISH/FRENCH REVIEWER

Openings Available:

  • 3 openings for Native French speakers in one of UWaterloo’s Aviation programs

  • 2 openings for English speakers in one of UWaterloo’s Aviation programs

WISA’s eLearning courses will be offered at $1000 CDN per course to support the upskilling of aviation professionals and enthusiasts.

Job Summary:

WISA is seeking to hire 5 UWaterloo Aviation students – 3 French native speakers + 2 English speakers – to support the quality assurance review of WISA’s eLearning courses –Fundamentals of International Aviation, Aviation Sustainability, and Aviation and Climate Change. The eLearning Course English/French Reviewer will review all modules, quizzes, interactions and the final exam in English or French against the auto-translated course content for language accuracy and aviation terminology.

  • The eLearning Course French Reviewer’s specific tasks would entail:​

    • ​Review of French eLearning course content (all modules, quizzes, interactions and final exam) to:

      • Verify aviation terminology used is correct in the translated language​

      • Verify the pronunciation of the audio voice over 

      • Report any pronunciation inaccuracies and provide the phonetic spelling of the correct pronunciation​

 

  • The eLearning Course English Reviewer’s specific tasks would entail:

    • Review of English eLearning course content (all modules, quizzes, interactions and final exam) to:​

      • Review from a learner’s perspective engagement level of interactions​​

      • Verify aviation terminology used is correct

      • Report any issues with interactions and inaccuracies of terminology​
